A New Series of Work: Collage

During the last fifteen months, I have had three solo shows in Denmark, London and a retrospective at the Rothko Centre. When my most recent exhibition, at Maddox Arts, London, finished, I felt I needed to take a little time out and lie fallow in order to refresh my ideas. So, for the last couple of months or so, I have been taking some long walks, reading, going to lots of exhibitions and generally allowing fresh ideas to develop. Very recently, I decided to make a few collages not for any other reason than to play with materials and get me back into the creative zone. It worked, and I am now about to start on a new series of work.
